Over the last decade or so, researchers have learned a lot about chickens. Namely, the vastness of their communication skills, through patterns and behaviour. And they’ve come to a conclusion: chickens are actually much smarter than anyone previously thought.
So it’s only natural that treating hens well in a natural environment will make them happier.
